Afternoon childcare worker / tutor (English native competence)

b school is an independently owned bilingual primary school (English/German).
As of February 2026, we are looking for an additional afternoon childcare worker / tutor (English native competence).

At our school children study together in mixed grade classes (1-4), and we apply Montessori elements. Joy of learning, independence, responsibility and creativity are important guiding principles of bschool. Teachers and tutors have the role of learning facilitators and promote holistic development oft the child.

Jour responsibilities:

You accompany a group of primary students during mealtime, lunchbreak and homework / learning time. Your working hours are:
Mo, Tue, Thu 12:30 – 3 p.m., Wed 11:30 – 3 p.m, Fr 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
In agreement additional times of representation during free play (3 – 4:30 p.m.) as well as school route escort by train or bus (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.).

What we expect:

-    You live within a 30 km radius from Hilchenbach
-    You are an English Native Speaker or have English speaking competence
-    You have a basic education / understanding in pedagogics
-    You are experienced and sovereign in working with children.
-    You are reliable and flexible with binding communication skills.
-    You enjoy working in a bilingual german/english team.
